Subject: Documentary w/study Guide Targets Every U.S. City - Prime Time

The Academy Award Winning Documentary "The Inside Job" [1] with study guide materials prepared by Professor Frank Partnoy, the George E. Barrett Professor of Law and Finance at the University of San Diego School of Law, [2]  are the focus of an emergency appeal regarding financial crimes that was directed to the UN Commission on Human Rights - Security Council on 13 April 2011. [3]

The subject matter and financial crimes outlined in the documentary are viewed as so critical to stabilization of the U.S. economy, that an appeal has been presented for a special prime time viewing of the documentary, with study guide materials.  The focus is to (1) engage the grassroots level, in every U.S. city/county area with the size and scope of underlying issues that have resulted in the loss of life savings, homes and our current national unemployment crisis and (2) ensure a mechanism for prosecution of financial crimes.

Note: The documentary is very disturbing and could require national access to mental health counselors and attorneys that can help citizens cope with the subject matter. Compensatory recovery for citizens is viewed as a priority, while legal tools for restructure are a focus for cities and states that remain in the midst of a debt crisis, caused by these historical events.

In conjunction with this educational initiative, Humanitarian Resource Institute is calling for national support of frontline service programs (unmet needs analysis and reports), [4] that have been overwhelmed by this economic crisis that has impacted every household, small business and corporation in America.
